Egypt spends LE 14B annually on state-funded patient treatment

CAIRO – 9 May 2024: Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Minister of Health, stated that the FY24/25 budget witnessed the implementation of program and performance budgeting in about 60% of the ministry’s sectors. He added that there are strong efforts to include the remaining sectors in the program and performance budget next year.
