Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population announced the issuance of 3 million 524,809 treatment decisions at state expense, in all governorates of the republic, at a total cost of EGP 14.516bn in 2022.
In a Wednesday statement, the ministry said that this came within the framework of lifting the burden on patients, by providing medical services such as surgeries, medicines and medical examinations at the expense of the state.
