(CNN) – An explosion that erupted inside a mosque during evening prayers in Afghanistan’s capital on Wednesday killed 21 people and injured 33 others, according to a spokesperson for the Kabul police chief.
Security forces were investigating the incident in the city’s police district 17, the spokesperson added.
